Greatings!  I have been out of touch for a while I know, but have been sick day in and out including nights.  After 4 months of severe nausea I am now feeling normal and at 18 weeks pregnat feeling my baby move!  My husband and I are very excited and hopeful that this one will be a girl.  My kids are in bed and I had a few moments to myself and decided to blog to those still interested in reading.  will be in touch more often I hope.  Blessed Be!

While walking my 5 year old son to the bus stop this morning Tyler says, "Mommy I know why Mother Earth and her trees look sad (refering to the grey-brown gloom of winter I assumed) because of all the trash in the road."

Having moved in recently we hadn't yet had a chance to walk the 1/2 mile streach to the highway.  We are located in a small area cut out in the middle of a streach of forest located along the Mississippi river.  There is only about ten or so houses in this area wich you reach by  means of a sand road wich is lined by towering pine trees and other smaller trees.  With the leaves gone from the trees and the brush and thickets bare you could now see all the trash carelessy tossed out car and truck windows along the way.

I then asked asked my son what we should do to help cheer her up.  He replied, "We can pick up the trash so she can breathe better.  That would make her feel better mommy thats what we could do."  I smiled touched and proud knowing  that what I love he loves, and what I have taught him of the Great Mother in these short 3 years (thats when they began to understand stories, ect. which is why I say 3 instead of 5) he understands better than I realized.

Then I told him Thank You.  For he helped me to see the path I love so dearly thru the eyes of an innocent child even if only for a moment.
